SInce he got kicked of the LSU team do you guys think he would transfer here? Would we take him? I know there is a lot of hype about Newsome and maybe Forcier but face it, they are still unproven and Shepard looked great at LSU and the people her love him (trust me I know I live in Lousiana) maybe he has learned his lesson......   and btw does anyone know why he was even kicked off?

RP was kicked off for a laundry list of violations. The thing is Les Miles gave this kid every chance to succeed and he just could not pull it together. Les learned from Bo and I think Les has a lot of qualities learned from Bo including how to give your players second chances and make them earn it. So the fact Les kicked the kid off the team speaks volumes.

LSU has no solid backup, just some good prospects. For a coach that wants to repeat for a NC to boot his QB it must be something worthy of kicking the kid out.

Yeah I mean I'm sure it must have been deep for him to get kicked off like that I mean he is a former 5 star QB,  they said he'll finish out the spring semester but I'm sure he'll probably transfer after that because I'm sure he wants a shot at the NFL. He seems like he needs to get away from "big city" if he transfers that is if any coach wants to give him a shot which I am not sure Rich would he might not sure though... But AA would be great for him its not so fast and he'd probably be more likely to stay out of trouble.

That would certainly be a big acquistion and he'd be great in our offense if he's willing to work hard.  Perriloux if he can get his act together has alot of potential. Talk about adding spark to the OSU Rivalry that would be great.  Lol he already has a win over the scarlet and gray.

GO BLUE!!

Ok I was wrong, I kept reading the thread.  but holy fornication.

i come from small town Michigan.  You can get in trouble anywhere.  FORNICATION, are you really that naive to think your location dictates your actions?

FORNICATION.   Water finds it's own level.  Perriloux would find trouble wherever he went because he'd look for it.

One incident may be overlooked.  Two might be excused.  At some point though, it's a pattern that cannot be ignored, justified or excused.

I wonder if he ever tried to pick up a "hooker" or break a girls jaw? Just wondering?

He was in trouble many times while at LSU.....and not minor infractions either.  Les gave him every opportunity in the world, but he just didn't understand what it took to be a college athlete.  Not a good fit at Michigan or any place  else.

WOW......you loose a gut like Mallet and everyone says it is OK.  He had never been in any kind of trouble while at Michigan.  Now, you are willing to accept a guy with such a troubled past.....and nothing not brought on by anybody but himself.  I can't believe Michigan has gotten to this point.  I amsure they haven't. Their have been planty QB's recruitedto this point without having to rely on this kind of person.  Keep the program clean and not have to worry about what this guy is going todonext.  He doesn't get in to trouble becasue the place he is residing is so big....he gets into trouble because he is what he is.  And, that is tgrouble.  I know, everybody deserves a second chance....he has used up "all" of his second chances.

Sloww your roll vaeer,

It's not even a big deal just speculation,  its not like us fans make the ultimate decision.  It's obvious the kid has had issues or what not but he has alot of potential and he needs a place where there arent all those luring activities like there are in Louisianna.  I never said the place was too big my statement about "big city" was nothing about the size of it, I was merely stating "big cities" have alot of distractions and can get a kid in alot of trouble and yes he got his self into trouble but second chance? what about the third chance.

All of this is just mere fan speculation nothing to get your panties in a bunch about.

I don't think anyone here is saying they're willing to accept a guy with such a troubled past as Perriloux.  The question was raised for debate, that's about it.  We don't need this trash on our football team.  We'd rather struggle for a year or two until we find the right guy.  Perriloux is not the right guy.

OSUcks and the sweater vest might take him, but Michigan won't.

This will be an interesting test of the "new" Michigan.  When I hear RR talk the other night, it sounded like he would recruit any QB with a pulse and a sub 4.8 40 time.  QB's are his thing.  We'll see.

i don't know about everybody else but the thought of RP at UM never crossed my mind. i don't know where this turned into a UM vs. LSU debate but i think we can all agree this guy is bad news. if you don't want to clean up your act, lead the defending National Champs and go on to make Jamarcus dollars, i don't know what's wrong with you. no UM fan in their right mind would want anything to do with the guy. i don't wish any further ills on the man but i'll gladly take a redshirt, pocket passing freshman to run RR's offense over a problem child any day of the week.

I wish michigan would take this guy . I am worried michigan is turning into a rudderless ship and going nowhere fast. Why wouldn't michigan take this guy? Hey Maize and Drew a few years ago michigan paid a few of their basketball players to try and buy a NC. yet they screwd up (as usual) now they hired a gunslinger coach who is used to bringing in questionable players ( pacman jones) etc. to turn around a once proud (1898 -1915) program. I say if michigan is going to sell its soul to the devil to compete with the OSU's of the college football world then go for this kid.

We'd like to take him but he can't spell.  But, come to think of it, that would make him a tremendous fit for your place.
