Razor,
I think Pyro is a real big question mark right now. Normally i would agree that the Bluegrass is a tossout because of poly , but i think there is something wrong with the colt. If you look at his 1st two starts( both wins) his times and beyers were really weak, he hasn't been as fast as he was at age2. Big Brown if he breaks clean has this race won in my opinion , although he drew the 20 hole , remember in the Florida Derby he became the 1st horse to win from outside post 10 since the track was rebuilt 3 years ago. He is a freak of nature when it comes to speed ( ie: War Emblem) he went 1:10 flat in Florida and still drew away from the field! The 20 post will not be a deterrant if he breaks clean.although i like Big Brown alot , I also was impressed with Gayego in the Arkansas Derby. He also ran a blistering 6 furlongs and still had gas in the tank as Z Fortune tried hard to run him down and to no avail. The difference between Gayego and Big Brown in my oppinion is seasoning and Gayego doesn't need the lead to win. i will key Gayego up and down in the exactas and put a win saver bet on big brown! And yes, by the way , i too like Z Fortune as he is an up and coming horse. One thing i will say and maybe you didn't realize this? in the last 15 runnings of the Derby 14 times the winner had previously ran a beyer speed fig of 100 or better! The lone non 100+ was when Giacomo won in 2005 albeit a bad ride on Afleet Alex! so look for those type runners! and yes Pyro fits! Good Luck and get Lucky!!!
