Big Pat......... i am on record as saying i did not think he was ready for the league just yet. That said, i think he has all the ability in the world and would not be suprised to see him contribute right out of the gate. Pats biggest problem at auburn was himself. He didn't make all the best decisions off the field and that left him in some ways at a disadvantage on the field. No real scary character issues, just lots of small things that hurt him. I wish him all the best and hope to see him succeed greatly in the league. Physically, he is all you could want in a 1 or 3 tech defensive tackle. Fast, strong and a great nose for the ball. From time to time he was dominate. Very Dorsey like in his lateral movement down the line. NOT NEARLY as explosive out of his stance and could get better with his hand placement. These are correctable issues that I am sure the Bengals will coach out of him. No doubt he could be a stud in the league but I think you may be right that he is not as polished as Dorsey and may need to get a year under his belt before he is the player you guys thought you drafted.
