Since there is nothing good to say about the Jays as a whole (Some pitchers excepted), Who is your favourite 2nd man in the booth?

Tabler for sure, he doesn't have an annoying voice and he knows the game very well.

As for Cambell, he is a tool. Honestly, I say the exact same thing he says 5 seconds before he says it. I'm convinced that there are mics in my basement linked to sportsnet and he steals my material.

If that's not it, then there's only 2 options left. 1) I am just as qualified as Jamie Cambell for the job, or 2) Cambell assumes every Blue Jays fan is an idiot, and thus only states the most obvious things ever.

I put it Tabby, easily, then Fletch... even though he seems to not know 100% what is going on with the Jays (probably doesn't watch them when he isn't on the job). And for Rance, the repetition and dumbing down of everything (I get it, there are some lesser fans that probably benefit, but he goes a bit far) makes me want to watch on mute.

well whoever created the thread, thank you, because i was just about to create one to ask where on earth tabler is this year. last season the jays were on sportsnet for 120 games and tabby did all but the west coast (rance), kc (fletch) and a few home series. so that makes me wonder why rance is doing so many games that are in toronto and on the east coast? i love him but there is no tv commentator like tabby in terms of the jays.

All the "color" guys are decent but the play-by-play guy, Jamie Campbell, has to be the worst in baseball.  He makes me cringe sometimes with his cliches and statements of the obvious.  How does this guy keep his job?

As far as watching other broadcasts, I've seen most and they are all homers.  The White Sox with the Hawk has to be the worst homer in the business.

I vote Tabby. His commentary is often insightful and interesting.

My favorite Rance quote was last week when he said the pitcher 'was diddling around too much out there.'

I might be the only one who got a chuckle out of that knowing the various meanings of that term...probably not though :)

Tabby hands down.  Fletch is showing promise, however.   I know its been a long time, but does anyone else miss Buck Martinez??

Tabby hands down also...

However Rance isn't bad.... My problem in the Jays broadcast both is in the form of Jamie Campbell. I cannot stand this guy. I find myself dubbing over the tv sound with the radio call of  Jerry Howarth and Alan Ashby  because this guy is just awful.
