I like Steltz going to the Bears...

Hester went a little higher than I thought, Doucet went a little lower.

Dorsey will have a fine year with KC. KC in my opinion has had the best draft so far.

Me Too!

I feel the same with Hester. I originally thought Doucet would go higher until his 40 time was revealed. He's not lightning but he's strong and can make sepereration at the LOS and will be a solid NFL reciever.

NOTE: Highsmith was projected early to go first round and now............. your time in the 40 can cost you a hell of a lot of money.

Dorsey will have a fine year with KC. KC in my opinion has had the best draft so far.

KC is rolling and he teams up with Bowe........ KC is looking good bra!!

What happen to Ali Highsmith. He was orginally a predicted first round draft choice until his combine 40 time, but I thought he redeemed himself at the LSU Pro Day.

It's amazing to me that they pressure these kids to run even if they aren't 100%.  Every year for the combine you hear that annoying strength coach from Arizona tell the kids that if they mess up it'll be fine that they'll still have another chance at their pro day.  Well I guess we see what really matters.  Yeah a 5 second forty time is atrocious for a linebacker, but that was a fluke, and I thought teams would be smart enough to realize that.  I feel bad for Highsmith, but I hope he catches on with a team that he fits in with and has a great career.

Overall I'd say the ex Tigers taken in the draft went to the right teams. I still think that K.C. had one hell of a draft even though they have no QB. I really like Flynn in Green Bay and Steltz in Chicago.  The 2 free agent signees were less than I would have thought and 1 of them I wouldn't have thought at all.

Growing up a Chiefs fan before coming to LSU, I'm glad I get to continue rooting for Glenn Dorsey.  As well, Rudy Niswanger is in the mix to start at center for the Chiefs.

While not having the same flash, with 4 first round picks, as last year, I think the LSU draftees all have a good chance to contribute to their new teams.  How can anyone go wrong picking good players off a national title team?

I was surprised that no one took a chance on Ali in the later rounds.  I know his size and health were questions also.  Ourlads said he was listed at 235 but played closer to 215-220. Then his 40 time.  Surely thought someone would have looked at maybe moving himto safety.  The kid is a football player.

What happened to Craig Steltz?? Why was he drafted so low?? I think he had as big an impact on the field as Dorsey did. The Bears got All-American talent in the 7th Rd. (or 6th?)

I was so curious as to why Ali Highsmith didn't get drafted, and was really surprised when he didn't. He hooked up with the Arizona Cardinals though. I'm happy for him. On another note, Johnathan Zenon signed on with the Cleveland Browns. Funny how that plays out. You win a national title and don't even get drafted when you were a pivotal cog in that season. I'm happy for them though.
