I feel the same way bldehw. I know football is right around the corner, but I want to know RIGHT NOW what Pel is going to do with P Bev in the offseason. I'm sure he's got something up his sleeve for Bev.

Excellent news about Henry after learning Williams chose IU. Anyword on what Pel will do with the other two scholarships still out there? Or have they been handed out already.

he was here at uc last year, but could not make the grades to play. we really could of used him.

is ark playing in the sec big east challenge this year?

I agree that it would be nice to see an expansion of the SEC-Big East Event, but the TV time allotment will proabably keep it to 8 teams. There appear to be too many current TV contracts for it to expand next year.

The 2008 slate is:

Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss and Mississippi State representing the SEC

Marquette, Louisville, Cincinnati and South Florida representing the BIG EAST

December 16th in Nashville:

Vanderbilt faces South Florida  and Marquette will face Tennessee

December 18th in Cincinnati:

Mississippi State faces Cincinnati and Ole Miss will face Louisville.

John Pelphrey has landed a top 25 class and did an excellent job late with the additions of Jason Henry (this kid is a phenomenal athlete and ball player) and Montrell McDonald (former Texas Tech) commitment and add those two to Courtney Fortson, Rotnei Clarke,  Andre Clark, and Brandon Moore.  With the return of Patrick Beverly and Michael Sanchez (this kid is an excellent ballplayer-don't sleep on him).

The Hogs will not only compete in the SEC but I predict a SEC West title.
