at first i was against maybe drafting a wr in the later rounds because i thought this years crop was crap.  after reading a bit more on some of the players, there is andre caldwell from florida who is predicted to go somewhere between 2nd-3rd rounds.  he was the all time leading receiever for the school.  a little over six foot and 207lbs and runs a 4.35.  so he's faster and bigger than manningham.

how bout we draft phillips in the first, an o lineman in the second, and caldwell in the third?  im game.

Andre Caldwell is Florida's all time leading receiver? 1,500 career receiving yards? Really?

No on Joe Horn why the hell not!!?? The Eagles at the Wr spot are the fat nerdy kids before prom-take the best they can get! ATL is starting fresh with two big young Wrs(maybe a new Qb)-they werent planning on cutting him just reducing his PT. He is sure handed vet and very crafty-would be a huge boost in the red zone(alot of missed oppurtunities last year) He also did a good job helping both Stallworth & Colston develop. AND he blocks very well for a Wr. I love the Eagles-but I dont see them drafting a Wr high and I bet when they do draft one it wont be one of the 5-6 that we(I) really have heard of or seen play against high competition. 5th rder for Horn would be great-IMO 30-45 catches 4-6 Td's. Im sure Horn wants to win and playing for the Eagles may give him a motivational boost. I feel the window closing on the core of this Eagles team either we put all we got in getting Chad or put the best bodies we have on the feild-what we have aint cutting it. And Im still pissed we didnt try to get D.J. Hackett!!!!!!!!!
