You are wrong. All it will take is one guy from either the SEC or the Big 10 to flame it up and get the fire roaring again.
Like I stated earlier, dismissing tOSU, Michigan, or the Big 10 for that matter as 2nd rate or irrelevant is bufoonery.
This is not a slam on tOSU...but rather what I feel some of my closed minded brethren would have to see from them to gain respect:
OOC opponents at UF, at LSU, at UGA and at Tennessee (no they could not be home games because you would get "try playing at {insert SEC school tOSU just beat} house and see how tough it is).
Then tOSU would have to beat their Big 10 opponents by 30 or more each game.
Not finished yet, as the Big 10 opponents would all have to have undefeated OOC records, and ALL finish above .500.
Still not done.
Then tOSU would have to beat an SEC school by 50 points in a bowl game, not just a bowl game, but the BCS title game.
Even then you'd still get some detractors.
