I have heard from a couple of people that Ben Hansbrough  might  transfer to Purdue.  He is the younger brother of the famous  Tyler.   I  think he is a guard and went to Miss. State.  Has anybody else heard this?

I haven't heard it, but what i want to know is,[ if he does come to Purdue ] is he as good as his big brother? He'd be another good weapon to have if he has good talent just like Tyler.

I've heard this rumor too. I think he really wants to go to Missouri but not sure if they have a scholarship available for him. He's mentioned that Purdue, Butler, Notre Dame (I think), Florida and Arkansas have all contacted him.

I don't know how good he is. I watched him once or twice this past season. I'd be fine with him coming to West Lafayette but I wish he had  his brother's size.

He's not as big as his brother, tends to shoot more jumpers, but he's still a good player for Miss. St.  Haven't heard this, but we've got the scholarships available so it's definitely a possibility.  He wouldn't be able to play next year though, right?

i think he could step right in the spot martin just vacated.  He played well when i was watching in the tourney.  I liked his play......and he can shoot.  It would be a great pick up.

I liked what he did in the tourney....specifically against Memphis... Ben is a guard unlike Tyler, but he shoots pretty well. He also appeared to be a very good team player. Would he be able to play next season though... b/c he would be a transfer

He transfered to Notre Dame this week.  ND is going to be very good this year.  Rivals has Purdue #3 next year and ND #4.

Ben and Tyler are both from Missouri, but not sure if they are brothers. LOL that's really not important, at least I don't think so. Ben had 10+ ppg at Miss St. last season. Purdue, ND, Butler and Mizzo are schools he's looked into, yet none of them have actual considerations for recruiting him for transfer. He would be a good replacement to fill in Scott's vacancy.
