When has Alabama ever truly deserved a top 25 billing???

While UK did well in the (SEC) that was all they did. They lose quite a bit this year and only really return 3 players from a team that lost more than 10 games. UK's star player didn't even finish the season and requires surgery. Uk may end up a top 25 team when all is said and done next year, but right now they are not.

He was correct in leaving these teams out.

The SEC was down this year, and Alabama still couldn't win in it.  They may be improved, but not enough to be ranked preseason.

We will see Hdawg, Alabama is basicaly putting the same team on the floor that they put out there in 05 which was a top 10 team except that the main players are now seniors. But then again, thats why they play the games.

Well as of now they would be putting the same team on the floor, minus their two All-American caliber players, since Richard Hendrix also announced his intentions to enter the draft. Without them, there's no where to put Bama but the bottom of the SEC again.

In reply to my own post since i didn't see your last one man, yeah, i could see Steele playing, but Hendrix would be a pretty big hole to fill. I mean, there's no doubt that Tennessee is once again the favorite to win the SEC outright, but there's always the SEC tourney, and the SEC West title.

As much as I hate agreeing with a Tenn fan Wild, Tenn takes the SEC, Pearl is the man, but Im not being a homer when I say this either, Alabama has the the same team as in 2005 coming back as seniors if all goes as planed, and Parrish missed the ball on this one.

Alright man, well I was just speaking from the perspective of what we know right now, in that at the moment both are "in the draft," and yeah, I definitely agree with you that if Richard and Ronald do end up coming back, they should probably warrant a top 25 pick, and I think should be in contention for sure for the SEC West title. As far as Tennessee goes, 'preciate ya saying that, and what alot of people don't realize is that Tennessee is actually going to be a better team next year. If you just look at losing Lofton and Jujuan, some people say it's crazy, but Bruce has called it his "dream team" thus far in his career, and with Hopson coming in, like Parrish said, they will be a dangerous team, with even improved length and athleticism (6'8" SF good recruit coming in, Woolridge, along with Hopson) that really has me excited. If you can't tell from my avatar name or whatever, Tanner Wild, a walk-on who'll be a senior for Tennessee next year, is a good buddy of mine, and he's even more stoked than i am for next season, he says it'll be scary.
