Nothing has been really said about either injury. Posada is still having some shoulder discomfort, so I'd assume he's only going to be DH, if anything. They haven't said much of anything about it, but I would assume it's just a little bit of discomfort and I'm sure he'll get over it. It, however, is just a matter of time. Molina has filled in pretty well throughout his absence, but he isn't Jorgie.
From what I understand, Jeter will miss this series with KC. I would assume, with Boston looming this weekend, the Yankees will be cautious. They're going to want him healthy for that series. Other than that, I haven't heard any news.
I don't think the Yankees will put A-Rod at short, just because the media will jump all over it. They will try and start a controversy when there is none, even though putting A-Rod at short wouldn't be a bad move defensively. They'll probably go with Betemit again or the young guy they just called up.
