I have been out of town and just got back in. What is going on? Has he been offered the job?
I think it is now time for WKU to start paying coaches enough to at least compete with major conference schools. Until that happens, WKU is going to continue to be a stepping stone for young coaches. This job doesn't have to be that way. We were one of the top 16 teams this year. If Horn would just stay, he could build this program up to be a Final Four contender. Our problem is that we can't keep a coach for any longer than 5 or 6 years before they get offers from major conference schools...therefore there is no continuity in the building process. Being an alumni of WKU I'm sure Horn would stay if the pay was at least comparable to USC.
COME ONE SELIG...START PAYING OUR COACHES WHAT THEY NEED TO STAY!!!
Go TOPS!!!
