That was truly selfless and truly an act of love for their fellow teammates!
These guys have multi-million dollar insurance policies on their ability to play the game, but that money does not replace the joy of becoming a professional football player, nor does it replace the ability that you have to give your teammates an opportunity to shine when they otherwise would not have been invited to any specific team's unofficial work outs.
Naysayers say what you want, but DMac and Felix shined in the combines, they had nothing to prove. Matter of fact, there was not a single person at the combines that could say that DMac was not the best athlete on the field because he WAS the best athlete on the field.
Kudos to DMac and Felix and long may your stars shine!
