And it is always about which team can come together at just the right point.... Leach has played a chess match the past couple of years.... now look at our team...
We have a 3 year starting QB....... We have a back field FULL of speed (4 deep at RB)..... we have the NATIONS BEST WR in Michael Crabtree...... ALL of the Offensive line is back...... only ONE Starters is gone (danny Amendola).
We have ALL of our front 4 back.......plus we are returning at DE a former BIG12 D Freshman of the Year in McKinnor Dixon....... W are geting at Top flight DE in Seasay....... We are returning our leading DB in Wall....... we are returning ALL of our eventual starters at LB in Williams, Duncan, and Hunter...... We are only loosing 2 Defensive guys and they are both in the Secondary...a place that has been great in the Leach Era.
We return 9 of 11 on D, and 10-11 on O on a team that went 9-4 and won the Gator Bowl...... We are starting out in the Top20. We have multiple games against top10 teams. AND our OOC has not potential bumps on it....
Also we ACTUALLY HAVE BYE WEEKS!!! for the first time in forever!!!! we have a Bye before conference play, and a bye before OU ..... we acutally get to rest.....
We get UT and OSU at hom this year. 2 games we lost last year. We are not playing Mizzouri or CU...the other to games we lost last year... we are comming off back-tp-back wins against Nebraska and Kansas. We are in position to Win the BIG12 South, and with a 13-0 team..... there is NO WAY THAT WE WOULD GET JUMPED BY ANYONE ELSE........
