Having read recent posting after posting about how the Volunteers (and the SEC) and the Badgers (and the Big Ten) were getting no respect, after their respective Thursday & Friday night games we can see why! Being a Card's fan, we think most people have overlooked the fact that the Ville was rated pre-season top 5, but due to injuries & internal team turmoil early in the season dropped off of everyone's radar. Now that they're healthy & playing as a team they are most definitely playing as they should have all along. Card's fans feel nobody should be surprised they beat the Vols and are in the elite 8. We also feel it should be understood if they take the Tar Heels that too shouldn't be considered an upset. The Ville is without a doubt one of the teams capable of winning the whole dance, and we're looking forward to the game tonight. As they say, "Toss the ball up & may the best team win!" Go Cards!

I don't know how you feel about tonight's game, but what with it being a given that teams have to shoot well I feel if we can cut the turnovers in half from the Thursday night game, along with pound the boards, we'll give the Tar Heels all they want. The best part about it in my mind is this year we seem to play better when we're the underdog, and what with Carolina being a 6 point favorite I'm expecting the Ville to come out aggressive & hungry. Hope you enjoy the game and hopefully we'll be making posts about our chances in the FINAL FOUR! Go Cards!

There was a reason all the NC fans were pulling for UT on Friday, they don't want anything to do with offensive/defensive machine that is Louisville.  We are playing up to our #5 pre season ranking and if we didn't have the injuries, we would have enjoyed a #1 ranking most of the season and North Carolina would have another L going into tonight's game.  I really hope no one says UPSET when the cards STOMP NC tonight.  I CAN'T WAIT!!  Ok, we might not stomp them.  Realistically I'm seein a double overtime win for the cards in a nailbiter....this should be the national championship game...

All the Vol and Badger fans are watching the games....

Although I think Louisville is a really good team,I don't think they are North Carolina good....The Cards won't be able to exploit a team without a point guard(Tennessee) and an offense that would not move without the ball(Again,Tennessee)...The Tar Heels have a much better defense and the Tar Heels are a much stronger rebounding team than Tennessee was....The Cards had alot of problems with Tennessee's defense with the 20+ turnovers...It's real easy to play defense and look like a "shut-down defense" against a team that played like Tennessee did Thursday night....Louisville will have to play much better than they did against Tennessee to beat NC in the state of North Carolina....I like the coaching match-up....Pitino will have his club ready to play and it will be close until the 10 minute mark of the second half when NC will open it up and win by around 10 points....

As I stated 20 times before, a  Bruce Pearl team will not go to Final Four anytime soon.
