It's better than last season, and I love our closer.  I'd rather see Wasserman too.  I don't see Thorton and McDougal struggling as much as they did last season either.  I don't think the bullpen is going to be as lights out as 2005, but it will be much improved over last season.

I think today's game was the nail in the coffin for Masset.  To even have to think about deciding between him and Wasserman in the first place was nuts considering Wasserman had an ERA in the 1.30 vicinity last season.

Mcdougal on the other hand, come on.  We garbage picked him from the Royals.  I dont see him coming around.  Hey, maybe if Floyd does bad, we could find Zack Grienke.
