Tiger fans need to help Polanco

Polanco is losing because Tigers fans are not supporting him.

There ie no doubt Polonco is an about average second baseman and could rate in the top 10 but to think he is in the top 3 at his position is insane. Nothing against Polonco, I have him on my fantasy team but I have him in reserve behind Kinsler he needs to add some power numbers to his game and increase his SB's. Tigers fans, you have a good team but don't get carried away.

I see the mistake in your thinking.  You think baseball is a fantasy game.  If you are looking for a fantasy 2nd baseman Polanco is not your guy but if you are looking for the best 2nd baseman in the MLB then Polanco is your guy.  He is a much better fielder then the guys left in the voting and a better batter to boot.  No he doesn't hit more homeruns but he does advance the runner where the others strike out and his batting average is better. Plus he doesn't commit all those errors those other 2nd baseman commit.

I consider myself a serious baseball fan, but it was not until the note at the end of the story on the April 3rd game vs KC that I learned Polanco hasn't made an error since 07/01/06!!  You've got a guy who has handled 900 consecutive chances without an error and someone on this thread says:

Last season he batted .341 and scored 105 runs.  He handled 683 chances in the field with no errors.  What does he have to do to make top 3, go out between innings and wash all the cars in the parking lot?

Polanco is a stud.  I didn't know about the poll at the top of this thread, but I'm going there now to vote for him!
