Problem is the organization does'nt seem to care at all about even trying to win.  Boche never has been one to take many chances.  He is a fairly mediocre manager.  But worse, the Giants talent level on offense is the all-time lowest they have ever had.  They will need to get these pitchers to really show up  for work everyday if they are gonna be expected to avoid 100 losses.  There is virtually NO power in this lineup.  They have maybe one guy (Rowand) who can get to 20 homers.  Two if you count Ortmeier who needs to really get it going now.  Why they sent Schierholtz down at this stage of the offense is beyond me.  This organization will hopefully get hit where it hurts (when fans don't come out).  It's almost too bad the ballpark is so friggin beautiful.  The fans don't get to watch a very good team in their beautiful ballpark this year.

As a baseball fan first, I believe the Giants need to trade there older players for any young player they can get.

They can trade Molina, Vizquel and any older guy to a contending team by the trading deadline and get some young players in return.

I understand your pain emdragon as i love Nate Schierholtz as he is a great player with some power and can hit for average.  The only reason he was sent down was because Fred Lewis and Rajai Davis were both out of options so if we sent either one down they would be be able to be picked up by other teams.  Schierholtz had one option left, lets just hope we hurry and deal Dave Roberts so Nate can come up soon and be where he should be.

Unfortunatly, the reason we have all the old guys is nobody else wants them.  I know that boch is going to play the vets and I also know that he shouldnt.  But when is this organization going to hit that point were they say screw it and start all this young talent.  They have to know how we feel as fans and what we want to see on the field.

Could'nt they TRADE either Lewis or Davis along with, say Lowry and Molina and maybe get a hitter somewhere.  I heard the Angels might part with Kotchman.  The Giants have a few decent catchers that could play in the bigs right now I think.  then Schierholtz gets to come back up, and things don't look so bleak.

Angels don't part with Kotchman for anyone on the Giants. End of story, he's our firstbase  of the future!!
