At least UW's upset happened after Brian Butch was hurt in the 2006 Big Ten Tourney and missed the Big Dance in 2007 completelyActually, he was injured against OSU in the final week of the season.  But the point that the Badger team was never able to recover stands.  Butch was one of only two players on the team that didn't defer to Tucker on every offensive posession and was the team's leading rebounder.  The fact is that Tucker was the only player whose loss would have been harder to absorb than Butch's.

thank you for the correction. Rather than spout off reacting, I should have reviewed material and then made my argument. My point was accurate, but I did indeed misstate when the injury occurred, and I am not too big to admit when I err.

And something else I wish I had mentioned and did not was that Trevon Hughes was absent from the Texas game when we beat them on their home court.  Maybe someone brought this up later, but I do not recall seeing anyone mention it up to this point.
