hey guys in the league that i am a part of.

Now that teams have been drafted and the season is getting ready to start.

Who had the best draft?

Im ok with my team but I see a few tweaks i would like to make.

So who's going to win it all?

Or if you think you are golden , who is second best?

I was brilliant!!! A drafting machine of epic proportions. They don't call me the owner aka Supreme Being of the Dodger world for nothing.

In all seriousness, I thought I had a pretty solid draft... probably middle of the road as compared to other teams drafts.

BigD will be tough. Tremp will also be tough. Heck, everyone will be tough... but the Kings of Flatbush should reign supreme

I don't know which league it is, but someone is denying me of a ALL DODGER OUTFIELD. I have Andruw and Matt and need Andre to fulfill my outfield. Whoever has him, name your price!!

I have no Dodgers on my team.  It's sad.  But it's solid.

I went into this league assuming I would have no Dodgers, and I don't.

As for the draft,

D Town..........I forget.  Did you draft with us or did you auto-bot?  I ask, as I have yet to get my head around Todd Jones at # 18 in the 2nd rd.  My guess, he would have been there at least at # 180 in the 20th.  Just saying.  That was, and still is, a head scratcher supreme.

In general, and as I thought, a lot of natural Dodger homerism creeped in on some come mid draft.  I still want friends here, so I won't nit pick that more than this.

The next semi surprise for me came at # 99 where Dodger Blue picked J.J Hardy in the 10th rd.  I little eary I think, but not tragic.  He made it up though by getting Vernon Wells at # 102 in the 11th.  # 1 unfortunate pick goes to the Kings of Flatbush with Salty at # 116 in the 12th.  It was not know then that he was not get the starting gig.  Definately an ouch.  My best pick value wise came in the 12th when Konerko slipped to me at # 112.

Mr all cool & blue comes in here with back to back picks that are worth a mention.  Mr end of the snake # 10 pick got messers 130 & 131.  I think James Shields in a steal in the 13th rd, but Liriano will be starting the season in AAA, so park him on the bench for April and hope the rest of your staff can pick up his slack for you.

Dodger Blue nailed a good late pick in Joe Blanton in the 17th at 162.  The A's will not be great, but that won't hurt his e.r.a or w.h.i.p numbers. I have a late pick that could pay huge dividends, if his playing trend since about August of last year holds up, Rick Ankiel at # 209 in the 21st.

Can't deny my last pick.  Randy Johnson.  Low risk, high reward written all over it.  I'll take 150 inning from 'em and 2 DL stints.

The Kings of Flatbush have no regrets upon picking Jarrod Saltalamacchiavellisondomtoneskivic
h. I have a decent backup in Geovonny Soto. He won't be down long, but he still might make the team as a full time DH.

I can deny your last pick duderton... You picked a guy whose minor league pitching coach was Aristotle. Have fun dragging his walker in from the dugout every 5 days.

I went back over the rosters last night... it's so obvious I'm going to win this league. I have absolutely no doubt I'll win every category every week. I'll be 300-0... I already have my victory speech ready. You will all metaphorically bow down to the king of Dodger baseball, the king of all that is Fantasy, the Kings of Flatbush...( cue annoying organ music)

I too have saltamachia on my team and was worried about it but if the King of the flatbush is not worried I guess I will not get to stressed about it.  lol

Bigd

Is there a website that i can go to see how the draft shaped up?  I wasnt at the draft so it was autobotted for me and I am curious on how I got 4/5's of the dodger rotation.   I mostly just moved Dodgers up a few spots on the list and moved Ichiro up about 10.  I am amazed at who I got and i was wondering when I got them.

Bob, ( & D-Town, if interested ),

To look up the draft, go to the league page.  From there, look kind of high & right, and click on the option Draft central.  Right now, you should then be looking at your pre draft rankings on the left of page, and your draft picks at right.  From there, to the right of your team name atop your draft list, check "view all".

You now should be looking at the league draft as a whole.

Question.

Yes I am new to the fantasy thing.

One league is head to head which I understand the rules on that one.

The other league (Dodger Board League) it reads points. How d you get points in this league?

Culmutive stats on the year. 10 stat categories.  If you lead the league in that stat you get ten points.  If your in last you get one point.  Add them all up and you have your total points...............which will be less than mine. :)

Sniff, sniff.  I think I smell a fantasy trade brewing.
