You know what I'm referring to:

Can the Hilltoppers stop UCLA and the "Love Machine" ?

At this point, every team left is a dangerous team. UCLA better not take the Hilltoppers lightly. They have earned their way to the Sweet Sixteen, and I for one applaud them. If any WKU fans see this post, congratulations. You are one of the 16 best teams in the nation, and no HOMER can take that from you. Good luck against us but not too much I hope. Hehe

Fans of Hilltoppers should ask yourself a question whether or not they have the answer for Kevin Love down low? We're a bit banged up right now and the status of Mbah a Moute is in question. Though he's practicing today but his ankle is still swollen.

Bruwins, I don't think anyone in the nation has an answer for Kevin Love. No one has been able to stop him this year. I also dont think there is an answer for Darren Collison! He just keeps improving since the injury healed. Over 50% from 3, right at 50% from the field and just about 90% from the stripe. The teams that try to stop Love will pay from the outside, and if they dont try to stop Love with double teams, he will make them pay. Guaranteed!! At this point, it is pick your poison against these two.

Thanks for the imput. As a topper fan, I appreciate it. Good luck to UCLA, you guys will most likely win. I will just keep that shimmering gleam of hope alive inside. Honestly, people don't realize what simply playing against UCLA means for the WKU faithful. As a program that really struggles to get any quality road teams to play in Diddle Arena, this game means a lot for the school. I will say that if the tops can pull of the miracle they might even cancel school on friday! I look forward to a competitive game, best of luck to both teams.

GO TOPS!

Crzytopfan, that gleam of hope is what makes march so much fun. I would most likely be rooting for WKU if they weren't playing the Bruins. Your team has represented very well as have you. And if the Tops do somehow win, I will be back and congratulate you. And you would deserve that day off.

NEBrewin, we were rooting for San Diego and WKU for Madness in the West. Then UCLA got crucified by people saying we got the easiest region. Is it UCLA fault that AJ Price got injured until Connecticut got upset? Is it our fault that Duke was overrated all season until they landed a #2 seeding? What about Drake the darling of the media?

You're right, if WKU didn't play against us, we'll most likely be rooting for them.

We've kept every game close this year including 5 pts to one of the #2 seeds.  I think we'll keep it close.  And if its close....youneverknow.  It'll be interesting to see what Coach Horn dreams up to try to deal with Love.

Brewins, you are right about all those people who come to our boards and just spew the hate. Those chumps come from teams in different regions and just can't deal with UCLA's success. But the funny thing is that it's been happening the last 2 years and by the Final Four, the Bruins have outlasted their teams. Just like I hope will happen again. (have to get by WKU first) By the Final Four, those HOMERS are not to be found as they, like their teams had faded away.

And as for UCant (ahem) I mean UConn, a team is made up of more than 5 players. You have to be able to win even if one of your key players goes out with injury. With the exception of the Texas game, UCLA won its games without Collison playing for 6 games.
