Yeah, I don't like Duncan (never have) starting in their OF one bit. He's just not a major league starter. He's a nice lh power bat off the bench, and can spell the corner OF postions, and Albert at first now and then. Why does LaRussa insist on sticking him out there every day (I guess we kind of know the answer to that)? I don't care how much he's improved, he'll always be a below average defensive player. I guess we take a month or two of him, and then give the keys to Rasmus.
I honestly don't mind starting Barton, Rasmus and Ankiel from left to right. I hope that's our OF by the break. We need to see exactly what it is we have, and if any (or hopefully all) of these kids can be long term table setters / protection for Albert in the Cards lineup.
