Selections have been made and the Midwest Region bracket is set. Agree? Disagree? Have predictions? Just want to talk? Do it here.

Let's talk the lower half.

KSU USC is the best game of the first round. Incredibly exciting, and KSU will have, to some degree, home court advantage. Omaha is not terribly far from Manhattan Kansas. However, this is kind of a set up. KSU should have been a better seed than an 11. Still, for ratings and excitement, this can't be beat.

Gonzaga Davidson will be awesome. Davidson hasn't lost in 2008. They are playing within 100 miles of home. Not only could they beat Gonzaga, but they could give the Hoyas a very strong run for their money.

The second round on both of these games is a toss up. Georgetown and Wisconsin are very vulnerable teams, especially against the teams I've mentioned. As a Hoya fan, I'm a bit concerned.

I am dissatisfied with the middle of the bracket. Seeds 6-11 consist of 2 power conference teams and 4 midmajor conference teams... it doesn't make sense that USC and KSU are playing each other, and the other two games are midmajor v. midmajor. They should have moved it around a little so that USC and KSU each play a midmajor. I am sure USC and KSU fans don't want to face each other in the first round, and midmajor fans hate to see two good mids play each other in the 1st round...people like to watch upset bids.

I can't wait to watch the KSU VS USC game. It might not turn out to be the best 8 & 9 match up but I will be looking forward to it the most.  I like watching the KSU Freshman and I think they will step up against oj mayo.  Im hoping for KSU to win

KSU, in my mind, has faltered down the stretch finishing the year 3-6 in their last 9. They were 14-2 at home but just 3-6 on the road. USC went 7-4 on the road. Even if Omaha's closer to Kansas St. then USC, I dont think it's really a factor. I think USC wins this game, possibly by double digits. It's that potential second round matchup between USC and my Badgers that I think could be a hell of a game and a hell of a scary game for Badger fans. Everyone talks about Mayo and Beasley but Davon Jeffersons a fresman stud himself.

Very nice region. Kansas deserves the 1 seed. KSU and USC game is going to be 2 great freshman head to head.

I like the midwest region not just because of the fact KU is 1 seed but because of the teams in the region. Whoever wins this region will definitely be in great shape to win it all. The top five seeds are all possible Final Four teams. I have to disagree with the person who said KSU deserved a better seed. I was in Allen Fieldhouse when KU played KSU and KSU did not look like the team they were almost a month earlier in Manhattan. I think they lost their chance at a higher seed when they lost in their only game of the Big XII tournament (quarterfinals). Im excited to see the Freshmen battle in the KSU/USC game.

I'm a Southern Conference fan (WCU), and Davidson will definitely be a force to reckoned with.  Predict Curry and the Wildcats will walk away with a win against Gonzaga.

I need help figuring out the UNLV- Kent St. game. I haven't gotten a chance to watch either team play this season. What's their scoop?
