You can post on this site anytime you want, dont listen to guys like AF_wdw_mkr  who proof read everyones grammer and think he is better then everyone since he thinks he can spell.  This website is to talk trash not grade people on their English.  AF_wdw_mkr  sounds like a Yuppy.

I never said sdfan couldn't post here.  I merely suggested that when he posts, he actually has some intelligent commentary to reply to.  For instance, if your are going to attempt to insult me, it really only works well when your "grammer" is intelligible.  And it also helps to understand what is normally posted on the board you are critiquing. This particular board is for the discussion and analysis of AF basketball.  I think TippyZ, USAFA_92, Falcon35, and the rest of the gang would agree.  I also have not "graded" anyone's grammar.  I have merely pointed out that it was flawed and in some cases insulted it.

As for being a yuppy, if that means someone who has more intelligence, more success and more money than you, then I must be guilty.

I noticed you have not listed any MWC teams in your favorites.  This would imply that you are out of your league.  Your post only proves it.

I would also like to point out that following Widowmaker's analysis, sdfan's posts actually began to include some actual commentary and discussion of relative merits of the teams with a few facts thrown in.  The only problem now is that sometimes his posts are difficult to decipher because of the poor grammar.  However, if Widowmaker's purpose is to raise the level of discussion on the boards (which I happen to know is the case), he has succeeded admirably.  A few good natured jabs and taunts are to be expected.

I, unlike Widowmaker, do make a practice of grading other people's "grammer".  I give you a C minus.

Just in case you are tempted to throw the "Yuppie" insult my way, you should know that I am a 5th grade teacher, which automatically removes me from the Yuppie category.  It does, however, make me uniquely qualified to make certain statements.  I can say with great authority that you are, indeed, NOT smarter than a 5th grader.

How stupid was your not smarter then a 5th Grader comment. How original--I just cheer for the Air Force because I am in the Air Force, and your comments to other people just make me laugh because you try and talk down to people. Like your better then everyone. please get a life

And your "stupid" comment was original?  If you "just cheer for the Air Force because [you are] in the Air Force," that indicates an inability to think for yourself and make your own decisions.  I don't "cheer for AF," I'm an AF fan.  I'm a fan because I am a grad and I am familiar with the struggles this program faces.  I routinely support the underdog, even if they are not my "favorite" team.  I also live in Colorado Springs, so I have access to more detailed information from radio and print media about the program.

BTW, you completely missed the humor in the 5th grader comment, once again displaying your inability to think.  If anybody other than widow had made the comment, it would have been lame.  The fact that widow is actually a 5th grade teacher is what makes it humorous.  Also, it uses current pop culture to illustrate her point.  This a common tool for stand-up comedians and is therefore adopted by the culture at large.  Use of the term "Yuppie," in contrast, is severely outdated and would be lost on a younger audience.  Consider "cubical rat" or "Dilbert."  Although still inaccurate, this would also be more outwardly derogatory as you intended your "yuppie" comment to be.

Also, if you "cheer for AF," then why isn't AF listed as one of your favorites and why is the first post you've made to this board a valiant but miserably failed attempt to defend someone trash-talking the team you support?

Widow hit it right on the nose.  Your intelligence level, based on the conversation so far, appears to be far below that of the population average.  This means you are ignorant of many things that will someday help you out in life.  You have displayed this repeatedly in your posts, specifically by misusing the word "stupid."  The fact that you continually and knowingly act on your ignorance is the definition of stupidity.  If you are going to post on this board, you must be ready to face these cold hard truths.  You can post all you want, but actions have consequences, and continued snipes at Falconwidow will only bring you scorn.  Don't say nobody every taught you anything.

Obviously you are incapable of understanding our intellectual variant of trash talk.

Again, with the English Lessons---Sports fans like to talk trash, drink beer and have fun.  Get out of your closet and enjoy life and stop trying to act like your better then everyone.

Now we are getting somewhere.  Your insults seem to be a reflection of your feelings toward yourself.  How sad to see someone think so low of themselves.  The next time you make a suggestion for an action for me to take, you should know your facts well enough to make an intelligent and reasonable suggestion.

1.  As for trash-talk, just because it's not in-your-face insults with no purpose doesn't mean it's not trash talk.  It's just on a higher intellectual level than the street slang you and your cohorts peddle on these boards.

2.  As for beer: Killian's, Guinness, or any micro-brew stout on tap; Corona (with lime) or Becks bottled, although I like to try new things.  The ale on tap in London was unbelievable regardless of the pub I was in.  The "33" at The Colonial in Douala, Cameroon was probably the best in West Africa.

3.  As for getting out:  Zurich, London, Paris, Frankfurt, Douala, Malabo (Equitorial Guinea), Libreville and Port Gentil (Gabon), and if you want some real excitement, try Lagos, Nigeria.  My domestic travels are too numerous to list here.

4.  As for having fun:  I was married in kilt, outdoors, on New Year's Eve, on the beach in Florida.  After the ceremony, we danced a jig, even though nobody really knew how.  I run my own business and spend every available moment in my life loving my wife and my kids.  I don't dread Monday mornings.  For me, fun is a way of life, not just something you do on a weekend (or weeknight) watching the game.

As you can see, I get my fun away from the computer.  You should pull up your pants and consider leaving your basement bedroom sometime.
