There are awful teams that are going to get into the Field of 65 this year as we have a pool of at-large that would normally not get in.  My brackets tried to prevent first or second round match-ups of teams who have already played each other this year.  I put Tennessee in the West with UCLA as I don't think they played each other prior.  Alleviating another issue, I put Texas in the East so they wouldn't have to play UCLA again until much later in the tournament if need be.  I know I did a boo boo by putting Gonzaga and Memphis in the same region but somethings can't be helped.  I know that my brackets seem a little unorthodox but with the strict rules the committee adheres to there wasn't much choice but to do what I did.  It is in my opinion that seeding won't change much as there aren't enough teams to take others' places.

I am very passionate about my wolfpack of NC State.  I've grown up with them instilled in my house and grateful I had the opportunity to attend the school for my secondary education.  We are know for our magical 1983 championship with the great Jimmy Valvano. The ending of the final is one of the most famous in college basketball history, with Lorenzo Charles' dunk at the buzzer off a high, arching alley-oop pass from 30 feet out by Dereck Whittenburg providing the final margin. In fact, the team won 7 of its last 9 games after trailing with a minute left in the game. Both Charles' dunk and Valvano's running around the court in celebration immediately after the game have been staples of NCAA tournament coverage ever since. North Carolina State's victory has often been considered the greatest upset in college basketball history and one of the best in sports history. I've been to just about every home game since middle school.  I bleed Red and White.
