even though we have beat bamer 6 in a row,they bring up thier 9 win streak in the 70s.even though auburns talent is so much better and it will take alot of recruiting classes to catch up they bragg about the 1st good rec.class in years.even though saban couldnt beat u.l.m and if next year he dosent drastically improve the recruits will not join a loser ,they still think what he did with the dolphins wasnt his fault.and tubbs has a better overall coaching record and a head to head lead over saban they think hes worth the money....even when saban coached a talented team in lsu he never won at auburn,are these people kidding......wait and see before you start with the jabber,all i heard before the last 5 seasons is how auburn is losing it and they are winning a natl.title.give it up as soon as carool goes to the pros saban is heading to sunny l.a.

What the heck is that saying about Auburn? Waheagle, I love your spirit, but can we please talk about AU again and not that other school? I really dont care if their fans are "football smart". I think all this thread is is an excuse to bash bama. If we want to do that, then why not just say " Our football team is far superior to your because we have beaten you 6 times in a row." It says a lot more and means a lot more than remarking on their fans....

I think this is due to the recent onslaught of Bama posts on our boards as of late. So, I am understanding of a little retaliation against them. But, as ohoolahan has pretty much stated....Enough is Enough. Let's try to take the high road here & end the b.s. trash talk b/w AU & UA. It'll say a lot more to simply not respond to any of their rude comments, much less start entire threads that make the entirety of AU fans look bad. I mean, they actually have a thread over on the Bama board that discusses some of our "less than classy" posts on our board. That's not what being an Auburn fan or alum is all about.
It's a great rivalry, we just need to stop getting spanked each year. That'll be extremely hard in the near future, as Georgia is on the rise. It'll be up to Auburn to dethrone them soon, though, and this rivalry will become more powerful than LSU-UF. War eagle!
I agree, AU/UGA is a great rivalry. My point is UGA spanked us 2 in a row. They broke out black jerseys just for AU. While AU is thinking about our second-rate in state rivalry all year, the Bulldogs are licking their chops and getting ready to hand us 3 in a row. I just hope the AU coaches and players are taking this one seriously this year.
As much I was in favor of Muschamp, I have to blame the UGA failures on him! It's the only way to make sense of the embarrassment we've put up with the last two years against them.

Muschamp had alot to do with it. It didn't help that Cox completed more passes to the UGA defenders than the AU receivers. The defense will have to pick it up a notch this year too, because UGA is bringing back as many starters on offense as we are.
