We shall smite them back to division 1-AA and let them know last year was a fluke for ya, Bad news for them is they will probably have to come to Death Valley at NIGHT!!!!!!!! dont take this the wrong way caue we respect the BIG HOUSE, but Death Valley at Night is a whole other monster. I dont think they will be scared by it but I do think it will cause them problems.
Have no fear though, we will be ready this time.
Get ready APP ST. WELCOME TO DEATH VALLEY

They are going to get embarrassed. The guys that beat michigan are gone I believe. I know their KR is gone for sure. Even if he was their, they stand no chance. App St. is too small to match up. The only level ground they have is that it is the first game of the season. They still will get crushed.

They might keep it competitive for a quarter or so, but I dont see a repeat of the Michigan game this year. What I really came over here for though is to ask what the deal with the LSU d-coordinator job is? I have not heard anything about anyone filling the slot. Any of you guys know whats going on?

Heya Tide,
The deal on the D- Coordinator is a damn stupid idea if you ask me. It looks like Les is going to announce this week that he will have CO-Defensive Coordinators in Brad Peveto and Doug Mallory. Both are promoted from within the ranks and to me it just seems like Les could not tell one NO so he gave them this CO BS,
There are a lot of Tiger fans that are not happy about this and some will like it. I think we screwed the pooch when we let Tentua go to Noter Dame, Only time will tell now.

You're supposed to win you big dummy! Look at the scholarship difference. Look at the funding difference in the programs. Duh. I take it you haven't had your Logic 101 class yet? Point being, it's quite a compliment that we cause such a stir. To not be worried you guys sure are talking about it a lot! In the spirit of good sportsmanship and class - where the heck is safe to stay and not safe to stay near campus?

Whatever you do, go eat at The Chimes. The boudin balls, blackened gator and the duck and andouille gumbo! They've also got a lot of great beers on tap.
Oh, and you might want to check out this club called Splash, you might like it.

Ok, gotta qualify here. I'm a veggie chick from ASU. I have a pet turtle - can't eat his cousins, but thanks for the tips. My friends will absolutely enjoy that. Where is it? Now the alcohol sounds good. We'll remember that.
So, nobody will tell me where a reasonably priced, clean, non-scarey hotel is near the stadium. I'm starting to worry! That's a long trip to wind up looking for a new hotel game weekend. No pay by the hour stuff!
Lead me in the right direction and when you guys play in Boone I'll return the favor! HaHa

ASUMountaineer, from an LSU fan at Fort Bragg, enjoy your time in my home town. Baton Rouge is a nice place to visit.
Your question about a hotel near the stadium is difficult to answer. The school and the stadium are not readily accessible from the interstate. Others can give you better directions, but it takes some effort to get there from I-10.
My recommendation is look for something in north central Baton Rouge, around Bluebonnet Boulevard. This road ties directly into I-10 and even I-12 so you have good access to the campus and the stadium to the west. You are also very close to the Mall of Louisiana. In fact, you can also take Bluebonnet west down to the river, hang a right, and follow Nicholson Drive into the campus the back way. It will lead you right to the western side of the Stadium and Mike's cage.
As for night life, I am an old married Army guy who has not lived in Baton Rouge for nearly twenty years. The younger guys and gals will have to give you that information.
