Looks like a good one for the tigers. A little bit of everything. The big games like bama, bc, fsu. A thursday night game. Carolina at home ( although that always doesn't work in our favor), and a winable ACC schedule. I expect some big things next year

I think the ACC gave Clemson a fair schedule. It's favorable except for the back to back road trips to BC and FSU which are both big divisional games.
As a season ticket holder, I'm not too excited with September containing 4 home games in a row and including such stalwarts as The Citadel and SC State. I hope a couple of the September games will be at night as it gets mighty hot in Death Valley in September.
GO TIGERS!!!!

Now you know, the powers that be at Clemson will not schedule a night game if it's not a nationally televised game. We all might as well get ready to bake. I too am not excited with 4 straight home games. I live 3 hours away and it's awful hard to load the wife and kids up for that many weekends in a row. I also would have like to have duke before BC and an open date before FSU. We can all wish can't we? However, overall I think it's a fair schedule for the Tigers. Hopefully we can build some early momentum and get hyped up for those two away games.

Yeah I think this a great schedule. I mean I could definitly see us going 11-1 or 10-2 at worst. The only thing I think I would change is putting Fla St. in one of those first 3 games. That way we would play them while they have all those players suspended. Cuz you know even though we have pretty much owed them the past 5 years it still is really hard to win at Doak Campell Stadium. Even though they aren't the same Fla St. of the past I still have enough respect for them to be worried about that game. The game I won't the most this year though is Boston College. I am so tired of them beating us and its not just them beating us its how they beat us. Overtime 2 years in a row and last year Aaron Kelly's dropped pass in the endzone in the last minute of the game. I mean we should of beat these guys in all those games.

Well it looks quite fair except for the BC and FSU games (which could be the deciding factor in the Atlantic winner). Tigers should go undefeated at home, which would be cool to see. It looks interesting and I am looking forward to Aug 30th! LETS GO TIGERS!

HOW CAN YOU HONOSTLY ASK IF THATS A FAVORABLE SCHEDULE ITS A FREEKIN JOKE I WOULDNT HAVE EVEN POSTED IT

Where you been? You finally come out of hiding after last football season? You posted something about chocking on the BB board, You guys should know all about choking - From #6 to 6-6. HA HA HA!!! As far as this years schedule, I guess USC was worried about the SC State game after last years performance against them and asked Clemson if we would pick them up instead.LOL.Also the last time I remember USC playing The Citadel, you guys came away with a loss! I guess after another 6-6 or 7-5 season you guys can go around talking about how tough the SEC is for another year.

Come on fightincox, get real. Why would you come over hear just to start trouble? Oh wait a minute, I know. You have nothing better to do this time a year, or for that matter any time of year. Does it make you feel better about your own predicament (being a USC fan) to come on this board and talk trash about our schedule. Why don't you go post on the Gamecock board? You can post anything you want over there because since football season ended no one ever looks at it.
On a serious note
I can't wait til football season starts. The schedule is setting up to be a real nice for the tigers. They have the opportunity to be ranked in the top 10 come the fsu game. A win on the road down in Tallahassee could push us over the top. Once we get by the Alabama game, the front part of the schedule will allow the tigers a chance to find their back ups and get the confidence that they will need for road games at chestnut hill and Tallahassee.
I can definitely see this team being 11-1 or 10-2 at worst and playing in a BCS bowl next year.
Go Tigers

I don't know...with the possible exception of Bama in the G-dome...I think I've decided that if we don't go undefeated next year I'm gonna' burn down the school.
Like, seriously. Somebody write this down so if/when the school gets burned down you'll be able to the tell the authorities who to come after.
This schedule is soooo favorable for the Tigers (7--and 1/2 as far as I'm concerned--home games is phenomenal!!) and our only legitimate ACC road games are BC and FSU. Well, BC is in a rebuilding year and FSU is...well, FSU; we usually always have their number now that Daddy B is in decline.
With this talent we have--16ish returning starters!--coupled with this schedule and the top notch class coming in we had BETTER be looking at a new era of Clemson football and I am oh so excited!

I agree, why not set our expectations high. The Tigers should go undefeated. ESPN thinks highly of the Tigers chances this coming season. In their EARLY pre - season poll they have the Tigers ranked #9.

Wow, eight home games, not one, but two Div I-AA games, and the softest ACC schedule ever. I guess we'll just have to call you guys GIANT KILLERS next season. Seriously, I think Byrnes does have a tougher schedule next season.
Of course, you do have to take on an SEC team in the Georgia Dome. Have you guys ever beaten an SEC team in that place? And you do have to take on a second SEC team whom you just barely made a comeback victory against last season after they spotted you a free 17 points. That's pretty sad that your two toughest games are against the Nos. 9 and 10 teams in the SEC.
What's sad is that you guys have confused the decline of your conference with your team actually getting better. Good luck in you BCS bowl game, next season's Hawai'i.

USC COCKS -
Man you have some anger issues. It seems that all the frustration over your sorry gamecocks has manifested itself into you striking out with anger against our tigers. The first step to recovery is to admit you have a problem and pinpoint the source. So say it with me ... USC sucks, again ...USC sucks, one more time my dear gamecock friend... USC sucks. Feel better already don't you. Well I know I do! Whenever you get your hopes dashed by another over hyped football or basketball team just remember that little exercise and I think it'll help you remember what reality truly is.
.Oh yea, and have nice day.

Hate to break it to you, USC Cocks, but Virginia, Florida State, Wake Forest, and Boston College are all going to be tougher than Alabama or South Carolina. Heck, I would even consider home games against Georgia Tech and Maryland tougher than South Carolina.

Clemson has an easy schedule year after year while Carolina has a tough schedule year after year playing Georgia, LSU, Florida, and Tennessee whereas Clemson plays North Carolina, Duke, Maryland, NC State, Wake Forest, and Florida State. that guy was right, y'all have a way too easy schedule and you think finishing 9-3 in one of the weakest, if not the weakest conference in the NCAA is a huge accomplishment.
When Clemson actually plays solid teams and THEN is still able to finish 9-3 or better, THEN ill say Clemson is a good team. there is just not enough proof for me to say otherwise.
