I can't wait to get out and support my Rays again this year! I'm not naive enough to think we'll be near .500 but with the way the Orioles are looking I doubt we'll finish last in the East. My friends and I go to the games all painted up, green last year, blue this year. We have CC's Crew painted on our chests for our buddy Carl Crawford. If you see us come on over and say hey. We're always in left field, you can't miss us.
Go Rays!

There's plenty of reasons to be excited in Tampa Bay. No more problem child Delmon Young, Carl Crawford is still on the team, Evan Longoria should be the starting 3B on opening day, a stronger infield, and a new young arm in the rotation (Matt Garza).
Many different reasons the Rays shouldn't come in last this season.

I am really excited for this season for the Rays. Finally, management did what I wanted them to do all along, they actually went out and improved the bullpen. The Acquisitions of Trevor Miller, Troy Percival, and Eduardo Morlan will give our bullpen the support that it has needed for years. And thank God they got rid of two players in Elijah Dukes and Delmon Young, both that had off the field issues. This is the year Rays fans...get your popcorn ready!

Sorry for that I dont know what I did
Like I was saying for the first time I like the team, they are my suprize team. Like the Garza for nuckelhead Young. The one thing that id like to see them do this offseason is add Loshe to the rotation and dump Jackson and maybe a vet bat off the bench and club house leader. Good luck Rays

I think Delmon Young is going to be AL MVP in a couple years, but I think it was worth bringing in Garza and company. I think we should hold on to Jackson though, he's going to be a very good pitcher. Personally, I think the Rays finish third in the division in 2008. Halladay and Burnett on Toronto are injury risks especially Burnett. As a matter of fact, so is Chacin. I really do think the D-Rays (they will always be the D-Rays to me, so spare me the corrections ) are better than Toronto and could finish third in the division. It won't be anywhere close to second place, but it's still third. I think the D-Rays are going to surprise a lot of people this year provided ever | |
