Hey everybody! Hows everyone doing to day. Oh, wait...I DON'T CARE!! VT is in so much danger next season. Their Defense will be falling apart. These are key players that VT is losing. These are IMPACT players. (3 on offense) = Not bad. (7 on defense) = Bad!!! In total 10 Impact Players gone! VT is finally falling apart. YES! And they will probably, I'm not saying will / I'm saying Probably, lose to Maryland. I'll dance to your little sandman song and then look at the score board and laugh. I'm saying Maryland 31 / Virginia Tech 27

Umm Corey Gordon never played any. but also Brandon Flowers not listed is going pro early. VT's defense will be fine tho so laugh now but we will see who has the last laugh. Yes Ellis Powell and Booker and very good Defensive Linemen but there backups played a LOT and are very good and have much experience. Jason Worilds and Nekos Brown will step in fine. Did you not see Hall's backup when he was injured. averaged over 10 tackles a game. VTs Defense reloads and doesn't rebuild. We will NOT lose to Maryland. Have a nice not but if you dont....I DONT CARE!!! Later

I don't think you can say they're in danger. Do they lose good players? yeah. Are they in danger? No.
On offense, we return the whole line except for Brown (who was good, but not great at LT). Ore returns, plus there are several R-Fr ready to come in and back him up. At WR, Zach Luckett will be a great player.
On D, we lost DT depth (backup Kory Robertson's gone too), but we've built up depth at other positions. DE - Jason Worilds, LB - Purnell Sturdivant, LB - Brett Warren, FS - Davon Morgan.
Reload? yes. Rebuild? no. We are not Notre Dame, we don't have 3-8 seasons any more.

Hmmm. I can say something so mean about the little incident in 07. You know, the little incident. The Unknown Announcer Says, "Virginia Tech will be humble in this football game because of what happened." You all aren't humble. I'll be yellin crap about that all at the game. Oh, we have a peace ribbon because we're humble...bla bla bla. You all played BC when you should've played Clemson in the ACC championship. I know you have an outstanding offense, but your "D" is little by little falling apart and you know it.

Oh, BTW, UMD isn't going to be a young team anymore. They will have 35 seniors and 20 juniors going into 2008. Everyone's coming back except 6 starters from the Defense. We got that covered with 3 4-star DT's and a 4-star CB = Camercon Chism. Go to www.rivals100.com. So really we have 3 starters leaving on Defense.

Ok, I'll first say that I am a VT alummn but have lived my whole life in Bmore so I am a Hokie and Terp fan. I loyally follow both teams but go with VT over MD when they play each other.
The Terps will be much improved next year and could compete for the division title. However, playing in Blacksburg I highly doubt the Terps can win. The Hokies may be losing some players but they will still be the ACC favorite and a National Title contender. I'm expecting Tyrod Taylor to be the startern and Ore is staying so our offense will be fine. This team is in no trouble and will remain the No. 1 team in the ACC.

What you wrote about VT and the tragedy is classless. Why would you bring up something like that let alone it has nothing to do with sports!? You have misconstrued a school finally having something to cheer about for egotism. That is the single dumbest post I have seen on this site. And why would it have mattered that we played BC instead of Clemson. We beat Clemson in the regular season. We are losing players on defense, but Bud Foster makes the most of the talent he has, not that he won't be loaded all over again. Remember 2004? I think Hokies vs. Terps will end up something like that.

What the hell smoltz29rulz. Hold on. The only reason I brought up the VT tragedy was to prove a point. I pray for those people every time I think of them. The reason I brought it up was because you all have disrespected the tragedy. The game vs. East Carolina you all were supposed to be humble. Every hokie fan was supposed to be. But no. You all are not. You can this humble. I'm stating my opinion on here about UMD football and basketball, then you all just hound me. You all cuss at me and say crap. If you don't like my opinion, then don't reply anymore. I'm sorry if I offended anyone about the tragedy just to let you know. I do pray for them and their families. I came to talk sports not to be cussed at and misunderstood.

As far as "not being humble", I am not sure what the heck you are talking about. You are the one running your mouth about how VT football is in trouble. We are not...that is "not being humble", its just that we arn't blind homers but still realize our squad will be very good for years to come.

The people who are supposed to be "humble". You know those teams who you like, but don't care for? For example, I like watching Oregon play because of their fast pase offense, their uniforms, and their field (I know we're not talking football, but this is a football / basketball rivalry). You'll probably make fun of me for that. It's stupid right? You all used to be like that to me. A good team to watch. What school would booooooo Vasquez of the Terps @ Virginia Tech? NO CLASS! After the tragedy, I had a lot of respect for this school, but now that I see how you all handle it....well, maybe that's why I'm showing the aggression towards you all. Maybe that is an excuse to boooooo other teams and do crap cause you think other schools have your back. NO. Not at all. I know they think it's crap. BUT HAVE FUN! You go right ahead. Why are we even talking about Maryland? UM is a non threat in the ACC, always has been ... always will be ....
VT loses a lot on defense next year ... but the ACC is so weak right now (see duke, maryland, nc state) VT will have enuff athletes to win most of our ACC games next year ...
ignore the maryland fan that has nothing else to do w/ his time but come over and try to light a fire on our board
