What in the hell is up with the Detroit Titans? Perry Watson is no longer pulling any quality players out of the state of Michigan. As a UDM alum who gets back to Calihan multiple times each year, I'd like to see them put something resembling a Division 1 product back on the floor. Having quality city kids leave to play for Oakland, Eastern and a bevy of out-of-state schools should be considered flat-out embarassing to Watson.
Get on the recruiting trail! If recruiting is rough, start getting some quality transfers to make the team upper-echelon while you continue to recruit.
Desmond Ferguson, Daniel Whye, James Thues, Willie Wallace, Greg Grays. You know what these players had in common? All scooped up because they were unhappy at larger programs. Any one of these guys would be the MVP on this current team.
