Just wanted to let you know that it was great to see your message about CMU.
I was recently in the Toledo area for the first time and decided to mosy over to the glass bowl. Terrific stadium, I imagine it can be very intimidating because of how close the action is to the fans. Respect to the University of Toledo.
My favorite Toledo player is Bruce Gradkowski. I watched him play CMU three years ago in the game that he got a concussion. My dad and I were right where it happened. It was probably the biggest hit I have ever seen that close. Bruce took his helmet off, threw up and was back in the game the next quarter. That is toughness that not everyone has. I think CMU still won that game, but they kept it close.
That game against Purdue in the Motor City Bowl this year was awesome for us. I hope it gained some respect from more people like you. Painter is an awesome quarterback, not to mention the talent that Purdue has on offense, lots of speed. Look for them to be a force this year in the big ten.
I hope my chippewas can three peat a MAC Championship. From what I hear, we are getting some awesome recruits. With a guy like Lefevour to build around, we could be on top for a while. Honestly, do you think he has the potential to go in the first round some day? If a guy from Deleware can, why not Lefeev?
I've been there through the worst seasons, watched coaches come and go, so I'll be enjoying the ride while I can!
