I, for one, think the Cubs should simply disband and voluntarily retract their franchise from MLB. It sounds like the season is over, and the Cubs will never, ever, be good. And now the Brewers have Sabathia? Heaven help us.
Of course, considering that Sabathia split the atom, bob ueker has nearly cured cancer, and the city of milwaukee is the closest thing to heaven on this earth, all of us cubs fans should just give up on following sports entirely and bequeath our fortunes to the almighty brew crew.
