Last year we went 4-2 in the division, sweeping both the Jets and Fish.  This year I think we have to repeat atleast a 4-2 divisional record to get into playoffs.  I don't think we will get a win against the Pats unless they don't play all their starters in week 17, so do you guys think we can sweep the Jets and Dolphins again?  Personally, I feel it can be done.  But on the other hand I can easily see us losing to both teams as we didn't really stomp them last year (except for the home Dolphins game).

The Dolphins are in rebuilding mode but I can see them getting 6-7 wins if thing pan out right.  Realistically, we should be able to sweep them again and there is no way they compete for AFC East title (sorry Dolphins' fans maybe next year but you have too many question going into the season, i.e. QB, young and unproven WRs, secondary).

The Jets are a question mark to me.  I could see them going anywhere from 4-12 to 10-6.  All their FA signings have to help them improve in order for them to compete this year for a playoff spot.  I think Jets fans are putting a little to much faith in some of their signings, as I have seen alot of their fans saying their line should be top 10 in the league this year.  Last I checked Damien Woody was benched in Detroit, I mean come on Detroit who let in over what 40+ sacks last year.  I think Faneca is a good addition, though, he is on the other side of 30 now.  Sweeping the Jets isn't out of the question, however I see a split to be more reaslistic.

Overall, a 4-2 divisional record can be obtained.  Maybe if by some unexplained phenomenon we can take one from the Pats this year, then I can see a playoff spot.  But in all reality, I am just hoping we can compete with them instead of getting blown out like the last few years.  I think we are one more year and another good DE, TE, and C from competing for the AFC East title.

I know the Jets made a lot of moves in the off season, but to be honest with you I am really getting sick and tired of all the hype they are getting.  I would really love to see this team fall flat on theior face and have another 4-12 record.  I think the Bills are much more established, and deeper, and should be able to go 4-2 in the division.  Patriots are just too good, but heck, anything can happen. Now if we could only get a good tight end....

Unfortunately, the Pats are still the team to beat in the AFC EAST.  Barring injury at several key positions (maybe Brady will tear an ACL making a home video with his supermodel girlfriend), I see the Pats sweeping the division.  Both the Jets and the Bills have made some good off-season moves.  QB play will decide who wins those games, but I would give the edge to the Bills.  If Pennigton starts, the Jets have a better chance of stealing a win at the Ralf.  We will most likely split with them.  The fins are in full rebuild mode.  They will be lucky to win 3 games.  We might need to go 4-2, but 3-3 is more realistic.

JudgementDay, I think you misinterpreted my post.  I wasn't asking for how you think the division will end up this year as I know the Pats will be number one.  I was asking what you think we have to go in our divisional games to get into the playoffs.

Also, why such much negativity to the Bills.  We don't deserve much attention?  I thought you were one of the big Bills supporters on this website.  Don't be so down on your team.

The Bills are by far the second best team in the afc east.  Obviously the pats r the best and the Dolphins are gunna finish last but the Jets, better than the bills, come one.  The signed a O-line man who is gunna start to drop off any day now, signed a line-backer who split time in ARIZONA, and drafted a LB # 4 who can just rush the passer.  If you think the jets r as good as the bills u r nuts.
