For someone who appears to be consumed with accuracy and numbers I would think getting the school name correct would matter. I refer to them as tu, always have and always will. I made the claim that following the 2006 season, Hawaii had 15 guys in NFL camps. I also said that I wasn't sure, but that appeared to be more than your beloved school. I did not consult  the NFL record book, the Hall of Fame or the waiver wire because that has nothing to do with my point. I have never questioned your school's tradition, facilities or the local importance placed on the program. In fact, I often use those very things to make my point about the chronic underachieving that occurs on the forty acres. You have won 1 title since 1970, you have trouble winning your own division of your conference, yet all you dreamers come on here and act like you are some unstoppable dynasty. You are an above average team with a storied history, but you have trouble livivng up to your own past.

What's there to understand?? You are a delusional homer who blindly supports your team.  Your behavior is pretty much par for the course. The season will begin pretty soon and we will see who is right.

All you have to do is go tomy profile.  I am a longhorn fan and am fed up with what is being put on the field being called a team and the scheduling of piss poor opponets and lacks attitude of this program not to mention the lack of  not winning  national titles.  1 in 36 years 2 conference titles in 12 years  nuff said about those ugle stats.

I like the record Mack has had with Texas. No one can doubt it's been very good at UT.   Unfortunately many teams pick patsies to play early in their season. Why hold that against them ?  The Big 12 is tough enough and Arkansas can be tough as a rivalry game.

USC went about 25 years without a National Title from the late 1970's. I don't think Penn State has won more than 1 with a ton a great years. The Florida schools got ahead of us for many years in recruiting.  It's not that easy to win National Championships. We aren't in the 1960's anymore with only a few teams capable.  It's easy to slip up during the season.  Who would of thought Michagan vs Appalachian St. would of happened.

Sure we can all criticize UT for not being better.  OU out recruits us in our own state and we lose regularly to them.  Mack Brown is a very good coach but not as good as  Stoops,  Saban and Carroll and a few others.  But what he's done is put UT Football back on the map as a 10 win team every year with BCS talk most years. UT's record this past decade rivals the best all-time.  I was disappointed with last years defense but I have faith both the defense and our QB will rebound so we can knock on the BCS door again.  Our schedule is a favorable one too.  Sue me for being an optimist!!!

I think you have to look at the program when MB took over.  Mackovic had driven the program into the ground.  There was no where to go but up.  I think MB has done a good job, not great.  Up until last year, the Big 12 has been one of the weaker conferences in the country.  OU has dominated with Texas in second.  If the conference continues to get stronger, and we don't improve, we are big trouble.  This year, early predictions have us 3rd in the Big 12 South, and 4th or 5th in the conference.   Guys, you have to remember, this is 3 years after winning a National Championship.  We should have gotten a huge push off that.  We haven't.

OOC schedules have gotten weaker over the years.  It's all about win vs losses, not schedule strength.  You watch BYU this year.  They are going to play absolutely no one,  (Wash and UCLA aren't going to be very good this year)  and SCREAM at the end of the year that they should be in a BCS bowl game.

My biggest concern is that MB recruiting has been hyped for years now.  I'm just not sure he's getting the players everyone says he is.  I base that on our win-loss record.  Again, way way way too many losses to teams we were suppose to beat.  It's not a one or two year thing.  It's been that way for 10 years with the exception of one.  If we had all those great players we supposedly had, we would have only had an occasionally upset.
