Kosuke Fukudome is what he is, an OBP guy, and his OBP is 105 points higher than his already solid .290 batting average which is very good. 86 hits and 52 walks through 81 games is not a disappointment to me.
Seriously, if people are going to criticize him for not hitting enough HR's, then they might as well and go criticize Ichiro on the same matter. The Cubs have enough power in the lineup with Lee, Ramirez, Soriano, Soto and the occasional pop from guys like Mark DeRosa and Jim Edmonds, they don't need 8 guys that will hit 30 HR's to have the best record in the NL
J.J. Hardy is also hitting over .290, and he's very good defensively, he shouldn't be considered a disappointment either.
