Hopefully a cub with deep pockets and a terrible scouting team will lose their starting second baseman, starting shortstop, their backup utility man, the backup to the backup utility man, any second base prospects, shortstop prospects, as well as any quality infielders in general.
Then and only then will they take Uribe from us!
In all seriousness though, I really hope that his contract has some sort of escape clause. 4.5 million this season is a lot of money - money that needs to be spent elsewhere. Does anyone have information on Juan Uribe's contract situation???
