Kind of a stupid question but do Cubs fans dislike the Cards fans or the Sox fans more?

Thats a easy answer 4 me. Having lived in St. Louis for 5 years and being a Cubs fan I dislike the Sox fans much more.  Many are fairweather fans and don't follow baseball unless the Sox are winning.  Most St. Louis fans are faithful and have knowledge about the game.  Also, they aren't loud and arrogant if they win.

Nothing against the fans really, but I dislike the Cardinals much more than the White Sox.

The Cubs have to deal with the Cardinals in order to win the pennant - speaking of which, a matchup of these two in the NLCS is not impossible.  Talk about heating up the rivalry.

Dealing with the White Sox means (except for the inter-league series) the Cubs are in the World Series.  I'd take that.  Also not out of the realm of possibility this year.

Since I moved from Chicago to Springfield, Illinois in 1998 there is no doubt that I hate the Cardinals more.  They are the most rude and obnoxious fans alive.  They can't handle it when the Cubs win.  I have taught my 5 and 7 year olds to hate the Cardinals as well.

Living in chicago, its the sox fans. However, the Cardinals rivalry is much bigger, hands down.

I hate the Cardinals as a team, but I despise Sox fans.

I'm with Irish. Growing up on the South Side, I quickly learned that White Sox fans are human debris. Being a White Sox fan is not simply supporting a team...it is a character flaw. And they live closer. So I think Cubs fans tend to dislike Sox fans more, eventhough the "best fans in baseball" thing makes my skin crawl a little.

That being said, the Cardinals are a bigger rivalry hands down. They have more of a history, play in the same division, and play each other 3x more each season.

So which team is hated more? The Cardinals. Which fans are hated more? The Sox.

i say the cards, but only because i live on toronto. i hate the sox, but i only get to hear stories and see them when they come to toronto and they act like idiots. but being a Cubs fan, brings a natural hatred for the cards, whether theyre a$$ holes or not. and another influence for me was my grandpa. he is the only one besides me who watches baseball and loves the cubs. he taught me when i was small to always love the cubbies, but never over his dead body to cheer for the cards. i learned about the sox rivalry much later. anyway i say screw both of  'em, but especially the Cardinals .
