Being a Cowboys fan and from Ohio (SE) I'll say yes I agree that we take our football as seriously here is anywhere. Unfortunately Browns fans are known locally as the extreme of unrealistic braggarts. I have several freinds and co-workers who are Browns fans. Every year its, "Man, our team looks awesome. We're SuperBowl bound, baby'" and other such phrases, but I also remember hearing "Couch will have a Hall of Fame career." Sorry they don't put you in the Hall just because your team is near it and you don't go the Super Bowl just because you say it. I'll give the Browns credit, they're improving greatly and may have a team that could challenge for their division. That said I also think it is a big week 1 test for our 'Boy's. The Cowboys, of course, always have a target on them and being week 1 I'm sure the Dawg Pound will be racous. It'll be a good ballgame. Fortunately for my beloved Dallas Cowboys our team is set up to apply pressure on both sides of the ball. That pressure will eventually overwhelm the Browns and lead to a hard fought week 1 Cowboy victory. Will the Browns have a good season? I think they make the playoffs. Do they get a "W" in week 1? They play hard, but no, our Dallas Cowboys win 34-24.
TOPDAWG if it's any consolation I am a big Buckeyes fan, but alas...
