I just read this.  "Slumping Braves outfielder Jeff Francoeur was sent to the minors to work on his hitting, with his average having dropped to .234."  Other teams send their hitters down when they arn't hitting Why do they keep Patterson with the team? If they sent him down to AAA or AA to work on his hitting theirs two thing that can happened. 1. is he might work out his problems. 2. Is he can't hurt the Reds when he isn't with the team. So why don't they send him down. I would think that Patterson himself would want to work on his hitting someplace other than the big leagues. He could be at the end of his career if something doesn't start happening for him.

Would you like a player like Patterson giving your future players tips and advice in the minors? That would set Reds back further than having Patterson already does...

They should cut their loses on Patterson and move on...

DUCK FUSTY!!!

Dusty Baker can't help himself...he doesn't understand the stats...he thinks walks just "clog the bases" ...he can't imagine how to score without a  HR....Baker is a mumbling, bumbling, slow witted, stubbornly biased old token manager, always looking out for his "boys"....

Walt Jocketty is going to have to get rid of Patterson to keep Baker from using him, because Baker is a losaholic....you can't have losers on the roster and expect him not to play them everyday...

Patterdoosh had a good day!  He only screwed up once.  Running for Donkey and left himself out to dry.  I wish we played the Nats more.  Next week will be interesting.  Playing the two best at home teams.  This team had better find some heart real fast.

Thanks RF1507 for finally moving past the elephant-in-the-room discussion.

Where do we go from here?
