this just shows the lack of leadership and how crappy our legislature is, sure Schultz f*ed the fans, but seriously what did he owe anyone? because he is from here? your telling me if you go to someone and they talk to you like your a child and tell you to f off your going to be happy with it? then someone offers you 250 million for the franchise then someone else offers you 350, what did he owe anybody? fair or not the fans did quit showing up like we use to when they were good and Schultz started losing money so he is partly to blame but seriously all this 300 dollar renovation for the Key is nonsense, all they need is for the legislature to pass a 75 million dollar bill considering the rest of the money for the renovation was already accounted for, its extra money out of King County voters pockets but that would be paid off in 3 years and no one would even consider a vote on it? maybe they didnt want to because of all the Heat they have gotten for the millions of dollars the state has put into all these other projects that have been screwed up and have taken many more years to get done and continue to have problems, granted I-5. the viaducts and schools are an issue but at least I-5 and the viaducts were suppose to be finished years ago and no matter how much money you put into education it will never be enough, I'm not a person in power so I have never had to make the decision it just seems like such a no brainer when you are asked for 75 million dollars that you could not find that somewhere in the billion dollar budget..sucks cause the city people cant get voted out until 2009 but Gregoire needs to go, anyone heard the new Rossi ads?
