I know what you mean cwood. Wow - can't believe someone would do that to a little kid! My niece and her friends roadtripped to the UM/OSU game in Columbus a couple of years ago. Her roommate at Michigan was actually from Columbus, so they figured they'd go to the game. Obviously, they were Michigan fans, but this girl had her high school friends there who were OSU fans. They were walking past some frat houses, and these OSU guys started saying something to the girls in the group about their Michigan jerseys. All these girls said was "Go Blue!" and a big guy comes off the porch punching his fist into his hand. He gets in their faces and tells them if he hears that again, he's going to kill them. Needless to say, they were pretty shocked, and according to them, this guy was NOT kidding!
Oh well - I don't really want this to turn into an OSU thing...I am having so much fun hearing about how everyone came to root for the Wolverines, but I had to share my story. I'm sure that many of us on here have those kind of stories to share.
