Another grand slam final matchup for the classless Williams sisters. Great, expect another fix like the time they first played in the semi's at Wimbledon and Serena was ordered by Richard to let Venus win since Serena already had a major under her belt and Venus didn't. Apparently Serena was so upset with dad that she cried for weeks. This story was not only speculated by many in the tennis community, including Marina Navratilova who said on national T.V that there was a "house rule" in the family that determined there matches, but later confirmed by one of the williams Sisters' (not venus or Serenas) ex-boyfriends who gave great detail about the fix in various tabloids.
But should anyone expect anything less from the disgusting, classless, Williams family that treats the game, the fans, the history and their opponents with absolutely no respect? Not me. That's why I won['t be watching. The only thing good about this williams matchup is one will lose.

I couldn't agree more. They came along during a time when there really is no competition in the women's game. Most of the women practice and train hard only to be knocked off by 2-tons of the Incredible Hulk (Serena) or Spider woman (Venus). It has to be frustrating for the other women on tour. The williams sisters seem to casually enter only the grand slam events and are quite successful while the other women have to play their butts off in lots of tournaments just to be ranked. They're built like horses and horses are born to run so until they retire from the sport the other women just have to suck it up and know they're going down.....

You guys aren't paying attention. The Williams sisters are classless and the entirity of hacks that make up the rest of women's tennis and whine because conditioned athletes that have talent send them packing are not??? Too many swimsuit models making a mockery of this sport are the problem. Just because the Williams sister's barely break a sweat getting to the finals, they're classless??? PPPLLLLLEEEEAAAASSSEEE, quit watching the sport to see women's underwear. Serena doesn't lose a set getting to the finals of the showcase of professional tennis, how does that make her classless, because she beat the Barbie's, because she came to compete at the highest level and her sister is the only one who can provide competition? In my opinion, the Williams are the only ones deserving to step foot on the courts, at least grass anyway. No one else wants it bad enough to put down their mascara and lipstick.

Sounds like sour grapes to me son. If you don't want one of them to win, then beat them PLAIN AND SIMPLE. People are complaining that Serena is too big or Venus is too fast, oh well, thats the point of athletic competition. No one is complaining that Nadal dominates on clay or that Federer just plain dominates. I'm not going to use the dreaded "R" word, but this really smacks of it. As far as Richard deciding who wins, I think the sisters are far enough along in their careers that they can play it out on the court and the best player will win.

When they have met in Grand Slam finals, Serena Williams has beaten her older sister Venus Williams 5 out of 6 times. Serana also has more Grand Slam singles titles (8 to 6) than her sister. Do you really think this would be happening if Dad or the family was determining the winner of each match?
Given that Venus is older, they would want her to be winning at least as often as Serena, if not more. These girls are tough competitors and enjoy having these opportunities to show the world how good they are.
Basing your argument on tabloid stories is ridiculous, especially considering the source - a supposed ex-boyfriend of one of the sister's sisters; come on. I'm wondering if perhaps your attempting to be sarcastic and failing miserably.
There will be no fix and we'll see some of the best tennis of the fortnight Saturday morning.

you are the DEFINITION of a hater. if you're gonna throw words like classless around...you could at least give evidence to justify your statement.
Venus and Serena are the ultimate competitors. And being a very hard competitor myself, i'm pretty confident that they dont plan the winners of their matches. You'll need more than the word of some random ex-boyfriend of one of the OTHER sisters as proof for that one dude.
You guys wonder why black people play the race card so often...its stuff like THIS!! please give some solid reasons why you are hating on them two...cause it appears you're just biased. Hell, i could even understand if you hate them because they win...then you're just a hater and not a racist prick. i'm sure i'll get flack for this, but seriously try to look at it from a black persons perspective. my apologies if you are not actually a racist prick and you have some other reason for genuinely hating them to the point where you would say the things you do about them.
