The trend of Campbell: doesnt do a damn thing until his senior season

the trend of UA senior QBs: winning 10 games in their senior season

SO ARE YOU COMPARING THEM OR NOT!

Get off the fence and quit flip flopping.

Yea, he's done nothing.  His gameplan didnt slow down the Auburn offense for the entire game.

I think Auburn did a good enough job of that all season, lol! Who won that game, btw?

His gameplan didnt beat the SEC Champs last season like a drum.

It was his plan to fall down 17-0, have LSU pull back on the throttle and commit dumb penalties inexplicably to let Bama back in, then have JPW throw 40% for the game? Um...ok..? Who won this game by the way?

His gameplan didnt beat a RB combo who both went in the 1st round.  Yea, the man has done jack squat.

Now, you did win this one, but McFadden ran his dang hamstrings off, lol. How many yards did he have that game? I know you love your boys, ng, but dude. You're banging the homer drum long and loud on these posts I've read so far.

Gonna add that if Cox sucked at 28-9 I want a QB that sucks juuust a bit less for the years to come. Also that JPW stats may be comparable to Stafford's, but Stafford's completion percentage is abysmal. And I'm sure that Stafford hasn't just had two seasons of .500 ball. That means a lot, man.

WER, how the hell are ya?  As far as the rumor about Trotter, that came from the other site and PJ commented on it.  I actually had a discussion with him about Trotter and how he thought he might figure in the race.

Second, I never said that your two guys werent good becuase those were the last receivers that anyone knew by name in conference.

As far as DJ Hall, where did I ever say that I didnt claim him?  He was a great receiever for us, broke every receiving record at Bama, and is the only WR in Bama history to have two 1,000 yd. seasons.  He was just all about himself ahead of the team and it ended up hurting the team.  He did everything he could for us for most of the season last year until State when he and JPW stopped seeing eye to eye.  On JPWs second Int against State, Hall was wide open on the other side of the field.  When walking back to the sideline, Hall was waving his hand over his head all the way back from the other side of the field, pretty much showing up JPW in front of everyone instead of going back to the sideline and saying hey I was open lets get em next time.

As far as the Iron Bowl prediction, its been years since yall beat us by more than 10, and its been 113 years since you blew us out  in T-town, so the odds are up against you.

Whats up with all the animocity(mispelled, Im sure) over here???

There is no flip flopping.  I am comparing JPW to Campbell on the fact that neither did anything before their senior season and I expect JPW to break out this year.  I am also comparing JPW to the past two senior Bama QBs, INDEPENDENTLY from the Campbell comparison, to say that JPW should be a leader and help his team win many games this season, hopefully keeping the trend alive and winning ten, but thats a bit of a stretch.

WER, Im gonna ignore your dumb and belitting comments just for the sheer fact that, well, you dont deserve a response, considering I have already addressed these claims.  But hell, apparently you cant read and feel like being on attack mode, so fine, if you want something to do, here you go...

Never did I mention anything about winning the game against Auburn.  I just said he slowed down the offense.  Alabama shot themselves in the foot by not capitalizing right before halftime and by committing a personal foul in a 10-7 game with about 4 minutes left and just getting a 3rd down stop.

I meant to put SEC EAST Champs, but got too caught up in writing that I forgot that.

Now, as far as Ar-kansas, we did slow down McFadden in the first half and Grant was with him yard for yard until the defense started to bend.  Then Saban adjusted, trusted his defense late, and his coaching decisions were the reason why we won that game.

On defense, you have to realize that you have no LBs.

That isn't entirely true, ng. Kavell Conner has 77 tkls and got 2 starts last year as a back-up.Scotty Cooper is undersized but athletic, and will be good in pass coverage because of his speed. Also, Alabama native Brandon Maye is tabbed by the staff as a future star at middle linebacker, plus there are a couple of younger guys who will contribute. We are young at the position but should be allright. Our DL will stuff the middle well enough I think to keep the LB"s from losing a game for us. We have never allowed more than 3.9 ypc since Tommy took over, been pretty stout against the run.

The OL is my biggest concern, because if Davis and CJ cannot get off then we are usually in trouble. The test against the Tide will be if we can score early, because Clemson has not been very "come-back" oriented in Tommy Bowden's tenure, and I just don't see this changing. It is imperative that we stay with the run even in the event of an early deficit.
