USC doesn't score many points on UGA, nor does UGA on USC. Usually hard fought games, closer than "expected" and as far as their scoring prowess at home against the Dawgs..... 0, 16, 7 and 21 points, the last four years.
All should read the Phil Steele mag... he respects the talent on the Georgia team; however likes the schedule of FLORIDA better- ergo he has Florida winning the SEC and playing the OSU come January 8th...
Like any pre-season forecast, there is "guesswork"... The Brutal Georgia sched... LSU, Florida and Auburn all outside of GA... simply rough...
Steele just sees too much OFFENSE for Florida in the 11/1 Matchup....
Again I have my pre-season as 1. Georgia 2. the OSU 3. Oklahoma 4. USC 5. Florida
6. W. Virginia 7. Clemson 8. Missouri 9. Penn State 10. Auburn....
I just see Georgia earning the SEC Championship and a SHOT at the Trojans!!!
Ga going to be able to field a team this year-such a shame. I would think mark would coach them a bit in the off season.? Oh yeah he came from FSU where players run wild. Assaults,DUI-next is either guns or drugs.
Tremendously tough schedule and if the Dawgs did navigate it to an undefeated record...they would probably be called the best team the SEC has ever seen. The 3 game stretch @ S. Carolina, @ ASU & vs. bama as well as the road (or away from home stretch as they are the home team in the WLOCP) @LSU, vs. Florida, @ Kentucky and @ Auburn.......is unbelievably and incredibly tough..
name a team that has stretches like that and could win all of those games...USC is about the only one that comes to mind and I do not know if they could navigate that undefeated!
