Why Notre Dame is so Great

In your lifetime there has been 24 UM/ND meetings and you have seen ND win more than lose.

while I agree, ND has had some very tough years in the mix since 1988, but it is what it is.

And nothing you and I debate will change the fact that it is 6:30 EST and Michigan still sucks

I've documented Michigan's troubles and will honestly point out that they have most likely fallen from the very top tier teams.  But I truly believe that they are better positioned than ND is and the gap between the two is bigger than you would like to admit.

It's now 10:19 am and Michigan could very well suck right now in some people's estimation, but that just means ND sucks worse

In my memory, ND has been a very worthy adversary over the years.  Some crushing defeats and some dramatic wins.  Prior to 2003, I can't really recall an ND vs. Michigan game that wasn't a competitive game, if not a nail-biter.  Even in 1999, when Michigan was clearly better than ND, it came down to the final drive.  These last 4 years have included 3 routes by Michigan.  I would consider chalking up #4 this September. 

Notre Dame has it all. ND is the greatest University with the greatest fans in the world.
