So I haven't fully decided yet if I completely give up on the NBA or if I will pick a new team -- although I'm honestly leaning toward option 1. But if I do pick a new team, I don't really see any team fit other than the Blazers.

Will your bandwagon be opening up for your brethren to the north?

I just heard the news that it was finalized the Sonics are moving.....that really sucks for the fans of Seattle.  The Trailblazers will be the closest team for you guys now....we from the great Northwest have to stick together right? Lol.....Portland and Seattle are only 3 hours apart so why not?

It's only a matter of time before David Stern moves the Blazers up north anyway.  Maybe we could settle on a halfway point, like the Tacoma SuperonicBlazers.

When the Rose Garden is fifteen years old, and suddenly "unusable" according to the NBA, the natural inclination of the Mafia led NBA is to just pull a team away from Portland, they have no other teams, why would they care.

So long story short, Oregonians already root for the Mariners, and half of us like the Seahawks...or we root for somebody in the Bay Area.   Us Pac-10 boys must stick together---however i see a Miami Hurricane logo in your avatar---uh...now I'm not so sure we can take you in as a bandwagoner...

There probably will be a ton of bandwagoners these next few years, as the Blazers will become one of the elite young exciting teams.   I'd rather have Washingtonians root for us, then Knick fans (cause they're going to suck for a few more years).

Ha! I am a Miami alumnus, I get a pass on that, right? I do still root for Washington State, but with nowhere near the zeal I did before, now I just hope to see they won.

Grew up in Tacoma though, hence the allegiances to the Seattle teams.

I always did like the city of Portland.

I'm on the bandwagon. Can't stand how Stern screwed Seattle, but I'll take Brandon Roy and Jerod Bayless. I'll miss Durant and the Sonics though.

I am wondering how much Nate M knew about the situation in Seattle and this is why he left two years ago and came to  the Blazers.  He was known as 'Mr Sonic' before coming on board with the Blazers.  I am happy with his decision to jump ship.  I think it is also somewhat deja vu that only 2-3 years ago when Paul Allen was floating the idea of selling the team, he know appears to have done a complete 180 now that the team is headed in the right direction.

Too bad the Sonics fans will not be able to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their World Championship next year -- what a loss of  storied franchise to a great city.  Schulz is a true douche and I would hope Sonics fans boycott Starbucks, I find it hard to believe that he couldn't have gotten some of the Boeing/Microsoft zillionaires to help him out and not sell to the OKC crew.

Portland have been supporting Seahawks n Mariners games.. Heck Yess we would love more fans... Stern really messed it up, it seems like he gave in to peer pressure of his greedy bretheren way too easily..
