Names for the OKC team

I agree!  It's funny they can come on here and fling their insults (been doing it for months), but how dare we say something back.  Typical pathetic responses from a bunch of liberal pansies who are already looking for their next free hand out.  Truly sad!

As far as names go.  I'd like to see OKC Thunder myself. and have a little AC/DC blaring over the sound system before each game.

I moved to OH from WA 2 years ago for school, and I can't fathom why anyone would want to spend more time than it takes to drive through this wasteland. The mid-west that you love so much is a cesspool of ignorant bible-thumping racists, with no idea of the world outside of their communities. The worst part is that the ignorant rednecks who dominate this area are so sure of their superiority that they don't even realize that they have become exactly the stereotypes that the rest of the country makes them out to be.

I will not claim I've ever been to OK, but if Columbus is any indication of the average mid-western area, then I'm sorry you haven't had a chance to see what a coastal state has to offer. I've been all over the US, and the mid-west is easily the worst place I've ever had the misfortune of visiting. 2 more years, and this horrible place will be nothing but a distant nightmare.

Oklahoma Cattle Barons or Barons for short.  They should give them ugly brown uniforms after this ugly change is officially concluded.

Of course, the Sooners and Cowboys works, but they are already taken.  I do think that it is sadly fitting that Oklahoma has to steal a team from another state.  The Sooner state was of course started by a bunch of cheats.  They stole land before they were supposed to by getting there "Sooner" than everyone else.  It just fits that they were scoundrels then, and they are scoundrels now.  Actually, I shouldn't criticize the state.  It is a great place to visit, and I imagine it would a great place to live too.  The only real scoundrels are the officals from the Sonics that set this up and the NBA for letting it happen.  I can't fault Oklahoma City for wanting and pursuing a team.  That's awesome for them.  I hope that Oklahoma City really appreciates this team and supports them more than Seattle did.  You OKC fans better go to tons of games, even if they aren't that great of a team.  That being said, I do like the fact that the NBA reserved the SuperSonics records, colors, and traditions for future use.  That at least gives the Seattle fans some hope for the future.

OKC Rustlers-people in the state know that a rustler steals someone else's property and rebrands it.

This is a sad day for Seattle and the NBA. Everytime a city is held up for a new arena/stadium and loses a franchise,many hearts are broken. Most understand pro sports economics, but it doesn't soften the blow.
