That's right about what Yadi's career %CS is I think.

yeah, it is. but this year he's only throwing out a measley 32.4%.

Yadier Molina is a great fielding catcher. His career CS rate is 48.8%.

In 2007 23 guys successfully stole a base off Yadier Molina....but 27 got caught a crazy .540 CS %.

Although in 2005 his CS% was .641 (in 114 games!).

Not to mention Yadiers bat is improving...he could be a backup catcher here...but tough to debate Kendall who started like a ball of fire.

I'm attributing that to injuries

Didn't like my quote of the smiley, apparently.

Another point, we have slower pitchers to the plate this year.  Lohse and Wainwright are pretty good about keeping runners close.  The rest of our starters... meh.  And some of that success has moved to Milwaukee; Jeff Suppan was always really good at keeping runners close.

Nice thread ThaBadge.  No disagreements with your NL Central team.  Agreed, replace Lee for Nady and your team is set.

Here's my version of my AL Central team:

  1. Grady Sizemore  CF
  2. Joe Mauer  C
  3. Carlos Guillen  SS  (I know he's 3rd now, but this lineup needs some pop)
  4. Justin Morneau  1B
  5. Carlos Quentin LF
  6. Alex Gordon 3B
  7. Jermaine Dye RF
  8. Jose Guillen  DH
  9. Placido Polanco  2B

Pitchers:

Bench:  Miguel Cabrera, Mark Grudzielanek, Casey Blake, Jhonny Peralta, Magglio Ordonez, Carlos Gomez and A. J. Pierzinski.

Alex Gordon starting over Miguel Cabrera? I know he's had a down year, but I don't know about that.
