If the San Diego Clippers, I mean L.A. Clippers think that Elton Brand is returning to them then they should send me some of that good stuff that they are smoking. No way does he return to "LOSERVILLE", after watching previous clippers leave disappointed. As long as Donald Sterling has control of that team they are doomed. I grew tired of seeing one of my childhood heroes, Elgin Baylor, constantly showing up for the NBA Lottery every year. It's not his fault because he is under the orders of Mr. Sterling. Elton should head back east, the Philadelphia 76ers are there waiting with open arms Their money is long, and their fans will love him. Brand Cheesesteaks are aplenty & waiting.

Where is Elton Brand going to make that kind of money when he was injured all of last year and still has injury concerns. Stupid move on his part unless he somehow pulls out more money then he was guaranteed to make from the Clippers.

Somehow you weren't watching the end of the season for the Clippers. Obviously Elton Brand isn't to concerned about money if he is willing to forgo his remaining contract to opt for free agency. Money isn't everything especially when you've made millions and the losing is at a constant. As far as his injury, I'm pretty sure all of the remaining teams in the NBA aren't too concerned about his achilles that they won't make him an offer.

Obviously you weren't watching the Clipper's season two seasons ago. Granted, they have been a dismal franchise in the past, but there was really hope last season. Unfortunately, both EB and Livingston missed 157 out of 164 games, and they have Tim Thomas on the roster. They are going to go after Baron Davis. Al Thornton is a stud, so let Maggette walk, but I wouldn't be too quick to assume that EB is going to leave, especially if Baron is running the show.

I hope the Bulls go after Brand. He is the low post player they need. I think there will be plenty of interest in him but he will want to go to a team with a playoff chance. That is why he is giving away that money.

I read an article that Brand was watching the Celtics & saw how 3 superstars committed to a championship can do some great things, quickly, and now he wants to try the same thing. If the Clips can get Baron Davis, or someother star he will stay, but I agree with the thread that Brand is long gone. The owner is notoriously cheap and someone else with stars, I suspect Miami, will make a big run at him. I hope the Bulls can get him, it would take a sign-and-trade, but the Bulls can offer Hinrich or Gordon and Deng or Thomas, they have a lot of good young players that the Clips may like.

Hopefully Joe Dumars is on the phone and getting ready to offer a contract. We would love to have Brand on the Pistons roster.
